Revell 04160 1/72 Scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 Scale Model Kit
The Bf 109 played an important part in all operations during World War II. The prototype first flew on 28.05.1935. The single-seat fighter featured a 1435 hp DB 605 engine which gave it a max. speed of 684 km/h at 7400 m. This kit allows you to build the late G-10 with the late war wooden tail. The G-10 series appeared in the last few months of the war and featured heavier armament to help combat the large American daylight heavy bombers and also various engine performance improvements to keep the aging design on par with the P-51D and the newest late Merlin and Griffon Spitfires. Total production of the BF109 would total some 35000 aircraft, making it the most produced fighter of WW2.
